You Got This!!

April 29, 2019

Good morning everyone!

For all the times that you doubt yourself or think you can't...YOU got this!!  We all need encouragement now and then.

This little sweetie called XOXO Tilda is from the Hugs & Kisses collection.  Such an adorable image to have the pleasure to work with.  To be honest...I want to color them all...lol!

I stamped this little cutie on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored her with the following Copic markers.

~Copic~
Skin:  E11/21/00/000/0000-R20/30/00
Hair: E57/55/53/50
Yellows: YR23-Y15/11/00
Blues: B95/93/91/B0000
Shoes: W4/3/2/1/0
Grass: YG95/03/01
White Gel Pen

I die cut her out with a circle die and inked the edges with distress ink.  I then used foam tape to pop her up on the scalloped circle, and used foam tape again before adhering her to the card.

The paper is from the gorgeous Maja Designs Vintage Spring collection.
The sentiment was created in Microsoft Word, the ribbon and pearls are from my stash.

As always, you can find an abundance of gorgeous inspiration images for sale here.

Remember to join in the fun and enter your Magnolia-licious projects in the Magnolia-licious challenge.  We would love to see your creations.

Hooray!!!

April 27, 2019

Good day!!  I'm back to share another Magnolia-licious card using an image from the recent Hugs and Kisses collection "Hooray Tilda".  She was in stock when I made this card but not at the moment so if you're interested in her, please email Shawn.  There are a number of other images left so get them while they're in stock!  Super cute!  I've also added Molly from the Molly and Milo stamp pack.  Doesn't everyone need a pet?!!!  I think so!!!  hee hee

I've used Maja Design's - Vintage Spring Basics papers, which to me are perfect for a spring card or spring birthday!  Magnolia-licious carries a variety of dies and this was one recently brought in from Whismy - "Happy Word Die".  This die is so versatile isn't it?!  😀  Great addition to your collection.

I've created some pretty foam flowers using White Foamiran and some Pearl Button Flower Centers.  Ok WOW, those centers are so PRETTY!!!

Along with lots of my pretties I've added a puffy seam binding bow and there is quite a variety of colors available in the store.

YES!!  MORE MEMORY LIGHTS!  I've colored my image up using a whole lotta Prisma pencil crayons and those are listed below.

I hope you've enjoyed my card this week and stick around as we have a new challenge coming up next week.  You still have time to enter the current easy challenge of "Using Flowers".

Have a wonderful weekend and I hope you get to treat yourself to some creative time!
Hugs,

Welcome to Tilda's Pancake House

April 24, 2019

Hello, hello, hellooooooo....lol....Nancy here.....today I'd like to share my inspiration from Magnolia's EXCLUSIVE Breakfast at Tilda's rubber stamp that Shawn has in the store...if you haven't gotten yours yet, you should hop on over....there's only a limited amount to purchase.....click here.....

Have you entered into our contest for this month yet? Click here to go and check it out for the details and to see what the design team has come up with...not to mention the inspiration that everyone posts for the contest....I absolutely love all of your contest entries...they inspire me like you wouldn't believe....so, thank you for taking the time to enter and play along with all of us here at Magnolia....

Now onto my design team inspiration for this great Wednesday....for me, when I look at this stamp,  my mind went right to a restaurant...so I wanted to make something that went along with my vision...but 3D style....with lights...have to have lights, right...ha ha....This is what I came up with....Enjoy!!!

you can also find more details with photos and products that I used by checking out my blog Another MD Crabbie .....

I decided to go with the outside view of the court yard when one is walking up to the restaurant. I used foam board to create my structure with 3 different levels for the flooring and only 2 walls...I glued that to a canvas and added legs to give me height to place the battery box underneath it....it's a very busy piece, but what great restaurant isn't busy, right....The sign at the top was meant to be a sign that you could see from the freeway....used twigs for poles to run blueberries up...and to make the little clusters of blueberries...the tree in the corner holding the swing was made from twigs....used some foamiran to make the flowers, peet moss for the grass and some dried coffee grounds for the dirt....
look at Tilda taking a selfie to share on her social media about the grand opening....lol
our little buddy even road his bike to get some blueberry pancakes....lol..I had a leftover piece of wooden fence that I used for a bike rack....
I made the swing using a balloon and wrapped twine around it, dipped in glue and left to dry..then just created the opening...
lights on....this looks so mush better in real life...
Well that's all I have for this fine day....I do hope you'll stop over at Another MD Crabbie to check out all of the products that I used and to see more photos...and don't forget our monthly challenge and most importantly, don't forget to order your sweet Breakfast at Tilda's rubber stamp....you will just love it as much as we have here at Magnolia....Thanks for stopping by...

Let's Play Dress Up by Pam

April 22, 2019

Good morning everyone!

Many, many moons ago I used to love to play dress up!
Apparently this little cutie does as well!  My project today was created with
the super sweet  image called Dress Up Avery from Paper Nest Dolls.

This little cutie was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card, and
was colored with the following Copic markers.

~Copics~
Skin:  E11/21/00/000/0000-R20/30/00
Hair:  E31/42/53/50
Stoll:  W3/2/1/0/00-E42/41
Hat,Shoes, Skirt, Purse:  C3/1/0/00
Dress:  W3/RV42-R11/00/000
Shadow:  B0000/CB
Grounding:  W1/0/00

(A few close up pictures of the flowers)

The flowers were created with .6mm white Foamiran.  I used the three smallest dies from the Lady E Design Flower 001 Cutting Die Set for my flowers and colored them with a little ink from my stash before heating them.  Once I had heated and manipulated each layer it was time to assemble the flower.  I added 3mm double headed pink pearl stamens to the centers...gorgeous!!

Remember to join in the fun and enter your projects in the Magnolia-licious challenge.  We would love to see your creations.  As always, you can find an abundance of gorgeous inspiration for sale in the store here.

Feel free to visit my blog for lots more inspiration here.

Blueberry Pancakes For All!

April 19, 2019

Hello and Happy Friday!

Today I have another inspiration card using the very sweet Breakfast At Tilda's stamp set exclusively designed for Magnolia-licious Stamps, Dies and So Much More store.

I know I just used this stamp for my last post but she's just so sweet and I wanted to make another.

So here she is again, Breakfast At Tilda's by Magnolia of Sweden made especially for Magnolia-licious.  I have colored her with Distress Inks which I still need much practice with.

Lots of gorgeous Magnolia DooHickeys Dies have been used here, some old and some not too old.  I love them all and it can be so hard to choose which ones to use.  I do have my certain ones that I use almost all the time though, such as the Rose Leaf and Tilda Tag.

Here I've included the Bloomy Tag, Heart Tag, Oven, Honeycomb (DooHickey Club #10) and these beautiful Berry Branches (Vintage Box # 4).  The flower is made of Foamiran and cut with Lady E. Design dies.

Distress Inks: Aged Mahogany, Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy, Bundled Sage, Chipped Sapphire, Fired Brick, Peeled Paint, Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain.

That's it for me.  Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look.  I hope you have a great day and a wonderful weekend.

Good morning my dear friends,  Suzi here today to share my DT card for our newest
Magnolia Stamp available only at

MAGNOLIA-LICIOUS

I've inked up this cute Breakfast at Tilda's which is totally exclusive to
Magnolia-licious Store  and added her to a chipboard tag.

I had a lovely live facebook class on how to use pencils on Neenah desert store papers with super talented Claire Harmsworth but as I don't have Prisma pencils it was a disaster for me but I've had
another attempt using my Derwent soft pencils.  I have a very long way to go to get my shading
and highlights right but I'll keep practicing.  Here is Claire's Video link if you would
like to see her amazing skill level.

My papers are by Vintage Summer Basics from Maja Design

I made my flowers using White Silk Foamiran and
flowers have been coloured using gallery soft oil pastels

Here is a close up of those pretty flowers

I do hope you will pop over and join us this month for the chance
to win a $20.00 gift certificate to use in the Magnolia-licious Store.

In the meantime thank you so much for popping in to visit, I hope
you enjoyed your stay and do please come back and see us soon.

The maple syrup and pancakes really can be anyone’s thing but I also chose to go with a Canadian theme but I will have to admit I wish our flag had more than 2 colors in it.  HA HA HA HA!!  I was lucky to have the perfect papers for it from Maja Design called "Summertime".

Here is my usual bouquet...ok I may have gone a little over the top on this one but for good reason.  LOL!!  I've used some chalk seam binding that's available in the store as well as soooo many other beautiful colors!

Here is a close up of Tilda mowing down on her pancakes, which by the way, I LOVE too!!!   Yummay!!!  If you were to ever have breakfast with Tilda, what would you ask her?  I think my question would be what's her secret to always looking so young.  LMBO!!!

Here are a few burlap butterflies, one with a Tim Holtz nib in the middle.

So there is my contribution for this super cute image!!!  I hope you enjoy all the other projects coming your way this week!!!  I can't wait to see them myself too but I think the DT has some amazing stuff ready!!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!!

Hugs,
Eulanda

Heavenly Tilda - Monochrome Card Forever

April 12, 2019

Hello artisan friends and I'm back with a new project!

This time I wanted to try a different color with a very special final effect.

It gives the feeling of a monochromatic coloring but actually there are many colors that camouflage themselves with the type of cardboard used for this project.

I used the Heavenly Tilda stamp, stamping it with black memento on kraft paper and colored with Copic in different shades of gray, taupe and red. The effect is very Wow in my opinion, as it makes the stamp stand out a lot.

I simply colored waiting for the color to dry, as coloring looks very dark and lightens as it dries, so from there I started playing with shadows.

Then I punched, alternately starting from the stamp on craft cardboard and then off white, with Fanciful Circle that I find it fantastic and very versatile both individually and in coupling die-cuts.
Then I finally went over the outline with a simple white pencil and gave it a touch of white and red 3D gel pen, ending with the Nuvo crystal drops gloss Oyster Gray.
A sentiment never hurts a project by completing it, so I chose the word "Forever" in shades of pink with some 3D red gel touches.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and taking a look. I hope you will join our current challenge here where this month's theme is Flowers. Don't forget that we also sell Polkadoodles, Paper Nest Dolls and Whimsy Stamps that can also be used for our challenges where you can win $ 20.00 to spend on Magnolia-licious Stamps, Dies and So Much More Store.

Have a great day and Better Tomorrows!

Breakfast At Tilda's - Double Slider Card

April 10, 2019

Good Morning My Dear Crafting Friends!

Welcome, on this 3rd day of the release of Breakfast At Tilda's.  This exclusive stamp was created by Magnolia-licious owner Shawn Mills in collaboration with Pauline of Magnolia Sweden.  This stamp can ONLY be purchased here at the Magnolia-licious Stamps, Dies and So Much More Store

Shawn wanted this stamp to represent his home country of Canada, where pancakes and maple syrup are served for breakfast, lunch or dinner.  This exclusive set comes as a set of four.

And here she is...  Isn't she gorgeous?  Tilda is eating a delicious stack of blueberry pancakes with maple syrup on this glorious sunny day.

Here it is opened up as a double slider card.  On the right side are the three other stamps that come with this lovely set, the "You Are The Blueberry To My Pancake" sentiment and two delicious blueberries.  On the left side I have used the Kitchen from the 2009 A Little Yummy collection.  I took away the top of the hutch and added the mixing bowls.

The lovely patterned papers are from Maja Design's, Vintage Romance collection.  I used Foamiran for the flowers, cut with Magnolia's Rose Leaf die and the flower from My DooHickey Box Club 5 set (Celebration).   The sun is part of the My DooHickeys Box Club 10 set (Buzz Buzz) and is still available in the store (I love this set, I use it all the time).

I die cut the two tags from Magnolia DooHickeys die, Tilda Tags (my faves) and tied them up with Vintage Seam Binding Ribbon, then added some charms that I've had forever.  The side, slide out panels are cut with the Recipe Card die from the 2017 Recipe Card collection.

Distress Inks: Aged Mahogany, Black Soot, Bundled Sage, Chipped Sapphire, Fired Brick, Gathered Twigs, Scattered Straw, Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Wild Honey

Copic Marker: N0

Memento Inks: Tuxedo Black, Rich Cocoa

Thank you so much for stopping by today and taking a look.  I hope you'll join our current Challenge here where the theme this month is Flowers.  Don't forget that we also sell PolkadoodlesPaper Nest Dolls and Whimsy Stamps which can also be used for our challenges where you can win $20.00 to spend in the Magnolia-licious Stamps, Dies and So Much More Store.
