I also wanted to remind you that there is still a couple days left to enter into our monthly challenge....so make sure you enter and maybe you could be this month's winner for a gift certificate to the on line store.....click here for a direct link to the challenge....

Well, make sure you stop by the challenge and enter in the next couple of days....have a great week and thanks so much for stopping by.....Hugs Nancy

Adorable Tilda

March 25, 2019

Sometimes you just need a baby card right?!!  Well Magnolia-licious has those images too!!!  I've added quite a few layers using some papers from LemonCraft called Just Love Me.  Check out the new papers pads from LemonCraft in the store now, Sense and Sensibility and Grow Old With Me.  I can't wait to start playing with these papers!!!

Aren't balloons a great addition to a celebration?!!  And celebrate new babies we do!!  I've added some pretty Wild Orchid Flowers and also some "Pink Aster" seam binding now available in the store in many different colors!  All I've done to make it shabby, is add some spritz's of water, crumple it up and let it dry.  LOVE IT!!

This little cutie is called "Adorable Tilda" and also I've colored up "Chubby Baby Feets" using my copics.  I decided to make this a shaker card but .... the beads are a bit too big to shake around much.  LOL!  But that's ok because I do like the end result anyway.

Here I've added more flowers and my new favorite die Love Typewriter.

I hope you like my creation for today!!  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great week!!  And don't forget our challenge for this month of
You can use any Magnolia's or Polkadoodles and just between us?  Will we REALLY know if you're image is your favorite or not?  Maybe it's your favorite for today, or a favorite from a certain collection....see where I"m going with this?  LOL!

Hugs,

Snow Tweet

March 22, 2019

Hello My Crafty Peeps and Welcome to my Magnolia-licious Inspiration post.

Happy Friday!!!  I have for you today, my second Christmas card so far this year.  I've already fallen behind as I had hoped to make one per month but there is time to make up for it, right?

Isn't this the most adorable image?  This is Winnie Heavenly-Snow Tweet by Polkadoodles.  I just love her because I picture this as me, sitting in the snow and watching nature, feeding the birds and hoping some will get close enough.  The angel part is a bit of a stretch though.  :P

I have colored this scene with Distress Inks and Copic Markers, Star Dust Stickles and a Gelly Roll pen for the snow.

For the dies I have used Magnolia DooHickeys from Club 2 and Vintage Box 6, and Spellbinders Labels 8.

Distress Inks:  Aged Mahogany, Antique Linen, Fired Brick, Forest Moss, Fossilized Amber, Gathered Twigs, Mustard Seed, Scattered Straw, Stormy Sky, Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain

Copic Markers: N0, N2

Don't forget about our March challenge where the theme is Use Your Favorite Stamp.  You can get all of the details HERE.  I hope you will join us and share your talent.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I hope you'll have a most wonderful weekend.

Polkadoodles time ....

March 20, 2019

Hi everybody hope you're having a great start to your day!

I am here with you today with a different card as today for the first time I have coloured in this lovely Ruby Hey There stamp.

Isn't she gorgeous :)

I have coloured her in with Prisma Pencils on our smooth Neenah Desert Storm paper .... at the moment I am into pencils more than copics or distress inks.

Paper is from stash as well as flowers.

I have used a heart die to decorate around this gorgeous lady and added a sentiment die saying 'I Love You'.

Can you spot the Magnolia Doohickey Insta Stripes they turned out nicely in the composition of this card.

Love the red and black and white combo on this one and Polkadoodles you rock :)

You can participate in our challenges with any stamp from our store now from Magnolia or Polkadoodles so what are you waiting for? Remember you are in to win a lovely prize from the store

xoxo

Guest Designer - Fabiola Giardinaro - Lollipop Tilda

March 14, 2019

Today we would like to introduce  you to Fabiola Giardinaro!
She is an extremely talented cardmaker.

Fabiola Giardinaro - Click here to go to Fabiola's Blog

Here I am with a new project with a new sweet character that I learned to appreciate over time as I saw it used on many cards. But over time I have acquired a technique of mine and a way of making three-dimensional characters with coloring and therefore ready to color this brand.

I present this project as a guest designer for Magnolia-Licious
with the whole Tilda spring version centered on an unusual lollipop card, ie oval.

I colored with the Copic Ciao marker and then die-cut with a Crealise scalloped oval on white Canson 220 gr.
Finally I created a rosette on the First Edition Paper from floral tones with a special Tim Holtz die. Created double banners with a Craft Passion die with First Edition Paper.

Then added a green cord and made a bow and voila.

Thanks for stopping by !!

Fabiola

Thank you so much for being our Guest Designer! We hope to see you again very soon!

Hello my friends, Suzi Mac here sharing my altered gift box
using various products from

I raked through my to alter cupboard (yes I have an to alter cupboard)lol
I wanted a box to hold some pretty hand made roses to give to a friend.

I found the perfect one and covered it using papers from Lemoncraft, they are
the 6"x 6"Just Love me  collection, I chose the cream coloured papers

For the lid of my box I used Lady E Designs new Hydrangea Flower 005 die
with White Foamiran 0.6 colouring them using Gallery soft oil pastels and a baby wipe.
The centres of the flowers are decorated with an Ivory stamen

For the Roses inside the box I used some bassil white card and Lady E Design Flower 001
along with Lady E Design Leaves 002 or the bottom of the Rose,  I also made some extra leaves for my friend using Lady E Design 003 leaves die  The roses have been
coloured  on 3 petals only with various inks and a sponge.

Thank you so much for visiting with me today!! I wish you a fabulous week ahead
and do please pop over and take a peek at the fabulous selection of craft
goodies that Shawn has to offer you. These is something there for everyone.

Let's Go Again!!!

March 11, 2019

Today I'm back with yet another card using Maja Design papers from the "Summertime" collection!  Annnnnnd I'm still playing with images from the Let's Go collection too!!!  Lots of great picks there!!!  I've use some older Magnolia dies and lots of extra's.

I've colored this little scene with my Prismacolor pencil crayons and used the "Taxi and Journey" sentiment and "Let's Go Tilda"!!  I think this was the first time that I've never had a face to color.  LOL!!

Who still has some Tim Holtz filmstrip lying around?  ME!  LOL!  So I've added that, some Wild Orchid flowers and 2 Magnolia view finder dies but I managed to hide the other one with embellishments.  ha ha ha!

AND TADAAAAAA!!!  I've added a Memory Light and used the Expansion Pack of 2 for a total of 3 lights!!!  These things are so cute!!  Last month I went to buy a card ....  GASP!!!  BUY?!!   Right?  Well I was heading out of town and in a hurry.  The card wasn't anything special and it cost $8.99!!!  😲   That's absurd!!  My point is, the price of these lights seem to be quite reasonable, far cheaper than anything I've used in the past AND they are extremely easy to use!!  I'd rather put the $9 on my own card plus a few extra's from my stash.  Waaaay better I think!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget about this month's challenge of "Favorite Magnolia or Polkadoodles" stamp.  Another easy challenge...ooooooo well it is kind of hard to narrow down a favorite but hey, maybe it's your favorite TODAY and that works too!!  LOL!

Hugs!
